| Residency Overview | The
Canberra residency provided me the opportunity to research and development
the shape of some new artworks and working practises with the personal
proviso that the process of observation and exploration were paramount.
The residency proved a great success and led to the instigation of a number of process based artworks which are documented in the Projects section of this site. The residency also allowed me to travel within Australia and make new personal and professional contacts within the major cities and outback. |

Canberra School of Art |
CSA is a bustling and vibrant art school situated in the heart of the Australian Capital. It has a constant rotation of visiting artists, academics and lecturers and thus provided a warm and stimulating environment in which to form new work, friendships and contacts. The Friendly staff and students of the art school and others within the Canberra arts community and further afield provided a great deal of valuable feedback and assistance without which the projects I initiated would not have been completed. Thanks to all those who provided their generous support and encouragement. |
